Karl Schumacher`s Proximator extraction kit consists of 7 periotome-like elevators designed to fit different aspects of the tooth. They are designed to eliminate the fibrous attachment where a periotome does not have sufficient strength.

Why are these instruments better than regular thin elevators? I am considering buying, but wanted to get some feedback from someone that has actually used them. Thanks!

These periotome/elevators are really great. But they were developed by Helmut-Zepf and not by Karl Schumaker!!!

Thank you Goncalo, I was just looking for that info. Btw. instruments from Helmut-Zepf cost 2 times less than those from Schumacher. But, since Schumacher is actually an American company that bought Schumacher in Germany, now they are Great whites on American market. Greetings from Croatia, Europe
