SLActive - New Hydrophilic Implant Surface Treatment |

Straumann has introduced an improvement in their SLA implant surface. SLActive is based on the scientifically proven SLAŽ surface topography, but exhibits a fundamentally improved surface chemistry. Due to its ideal conditioning, the chemically active and hydrophilic SLActive surface significantly promotes the osseointegration process. Animal studies demonstrate that their new surface allows for accelerated bone remodelling during the entire osseointegration process.
